Abdonel Mercilus

Abdonel Mercilus was born on May 25, 1980 in Port De Paix Haiti. Abdonel was the son of Kerly Mercilus and Ilianette Augustave.

Abdonel gained a second mother in Bernadette Mercilus when she married Kerly. Abdonel made it known that Bernadette was his mom and called her mom.

On August 6, 2017; Abdonel welcomed his pride and joy into this world, Kervimsky Junior Mercilus. Abdonel and Kervinsky had a bond like no other which made it very difficult for Abdonel to make the decision to come to the United States and leave his son behind in Haiti to provide a better life and one day reunite in the US.

Abdonel had dreams of changing the world for his son. What stood out about Abdonel is that he worked vigorously to make a honest living and support his son.

Outside of supporting his son, Abdonel loved the Lord and loved attending church every Sabbath.

Abdonel had a warm and loving soul and was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. Abdonel left this world far too soon on April 10, 2025.

Abdonel is survived by his SON Kervinsky Junior Mercilus, PARENTS: Kerly & Bernadette Mercilus, SIBLINGS: Kevin, Ketna, Sperancia and Speranta, and family including uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and niece(s).

Rest in peace Abdonel. Your spirit will forever be a part of us and your love will always echo in our hearts.
