Abdullah H. Khal

Abdullah (Aboud) H. Khal, 68, of Catasauqua, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was the husband of Randa Abboud. Born in Amar, Syria, he was the son of the late Anis and Aziza (Ammary) Khal.

Those who knew Aboud were blessed to experience the warmth of his smile, his laughter, his deep and authentic love for his family and friends, for music and life… but most of all, his incredibly kind and loving soul. His passing leaves behind a massive absence where his smile once was. He never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, always generous with all that he had to bring smiles, laughter and good memories to his loved ones. His life was filled with unconditional love. He spent his last few years in the place he loved most, in Syria, with his beloved wife Randa... and in the last several weeks of his life, spent in the loving care of his daughter Dede and son Asaad Saab who he cherished more than life itself.

We celebrate the beautiful life he lived; it is because of his powerful kindness and generosity of the love he poured out that we so deeply grieve this astounding loss. He will always be remembered as "The Nicest Sweetest Man Always Smiling". Never forgotten, rest in forever eternal peace, our sweetest angel.

Survivors: Wife; Daughter, Deanna Saloum and her husband, Asaad; Brother, Yousef Hadeed and his wife, Zakieh; Sisters, Najla Barber, Diana Gharzouzi and her husband, Elias, Vera Watts and her husband, Brad, and Lina Bunney and her husband, Monte; and Step-Granddaughters, Soriana, Selina, Nadia, and Maria Saloum; Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. George Orthodox Church, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Entombment in Grandview Mausoleum.
