It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Abdulsalam Laltaprasad, a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life in September 2025.

Born on May 19, 1955, in Berbice, Guyana, to the late Laltaprasad Mohan and Chanwatti Laltaprasad, Abdulsalam carried with him the values of hard work, humility, and compassion throughout his life.

A dedicated general laborer by trade, Abdulsalam was known not only for his tireless work ethic but also for his quiet strength and unwavering commitment to his family. He lived a life rooted in faith and service, offering kindness, wisdom, and a listening ear to all who crossed his path.

Abdulsalam's legacy lives on through his beloved children: Imran Laltaprasad, Farzana Hassan, and Abdool Khan Corlette, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives were touched by his generosity, gentle spirit, and sincere love.

His presence will be deeply missed, but the values he instilled, and the love he gave so freely, will endure in all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, beginning with a Janazah Prayer at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, 100 Malcolm X Blvd, Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120, followed by interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02131.

May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest place in Jannah and bring peace to all who mourn his passing.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un – Surely, we belong to Allah, and to Him shall we return.
