Abel Banda Cisneroz

Abel Banda Cisneroz passed away April 24, 2025. He was 50.
Abel was born June 14,1974 in Taft, Texas to Blanca Estella (Banda) and Abel Zapata Cisneros. He graduated Taft High School in 1993. Abel lived most of his life in Taft, and lived formerly in Nebraska and Kansas. He married the love of his life, Kristy Anne Spicer on February 25, 1995. They celebrated 30 years of marriage on February 25, 2025. Abel was formerly employed as a Forklift Operator for Pepsi Company until 2013.
Abel was a loving husband, father and most importantly being a "Popo". He always put his family first. Abel had a great sense of humor. He would always try to put a smile on your face.
Abel coached two summers of youth baseball. He umpired games and helped the Marysville Rec Manager take care of the fields. Abel also enjoyed camping, fishing and being outdoors. If you knew Abel, you were truly blessed. He will now and forever be loved and missed.
Preceding in death are a grandchild: Maleni; and parents: Abel Z. and Blanca E. Cisneros.
Survivors include his loving wife: Kristy Anne Cisneroz from Taft, Texas; son: Abel Cisneroz (Alyssa) from Portland, Texas; daughter: Yasmeen Cisneroz (Ben) from Taft, Texas; step-son: Austin Keating (Zara) from Falls City, Nebraska; grandchildren: Mila, Waverly, Abraham, Zandra, Chloe, Abel and Adriel; siblings: Rita Cardenas (Robert) from Portland, Texas; Dale (Theresa) Lawver from North Carolina; Henry Cisneros (Deb) from Taft, Texas; and Mary Jane Cisneros from Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will begin Monday, May 5, 2025, 12 noon to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
