Gregory Lee Honesto

Gregory Lee Honesto, age 62, passed away on January 23, 2026.

Gregory was born on March 20, 1963, in Vernon, Texas, to Leonor (Nava) and Mike Honesto. He was a loving brother and a dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Liocadio and Eloisa Nava; his mother, Leonor Gonzales; his father, Marcus Honesto; and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Morales.

Left to cherish his memory are his brothers: Jimmy Nava (Margaret) of Vernon, Texas; Freddy Nava (Amy) of Robstown, Texas; Ramon Pereida of Sinton, Texas; and Maney Gonzales (Melissa) of Robstown, Texas.
He is also survived by his sisters: Angie Nava, Missy Pereida, and Lile Gonzales, all of Sinton, Texas; and Marlena Honesto Elliott and Marcy Garcia (Ricardo), both of Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. A Prayer Service will be held the same evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton. Burial will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
