Abel Gómez-Juárez nació el 8 de octubre de 1961 en Comonfort, México, hijo de Ignacio Gómez y Sofía Juárez. Se casó con María García-Mendoza en 1981. Abel se desempeñó como gerente de ubicación de Spring Creek Enterprises desde 2001. Era católico de fe.
Abel era un hombre de familia muy trabajador. Tenía una personalidad tranquila y una ética de trabajo excepcional. Lideraba con el ejemplo y nunca le pedía a nadie que hiciera algo que él no estuviera dispuesto a hacer. Su empleador lo describió como el hombre más trabajador que jamás había conocido.
La dedicación de Abel a su trabajo estaba impulsada por el amor a su familia. Su familia era el corazón de su mundo. Abel encontraba su mayor alegría en el tiempo que pasaba con sus seres queridos, compartiendo comidas y momentos inolvidables.
Le sobreviven su esposa de 44 años, María García-Mendoza; sus hijos, Remedios Natalia, Darío, Ana Marina, Yareli, José Ignacio, Guadalupe de Jesús y Sofía; su nieta, Victoria; varios hermanos y hermanas; y una gran familia. Abel fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres.

Abel Gomez-Juarez, 63, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025.
The funeral service will be held at a later date in Mexico. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1207 Randolph Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
Abel Gomez-Juarez was born October 8, 1961, in Comonfort, Mexico, the son of Ignacio Gomez & Sofia Juarez. He married Maria Garcia-Mendoza in 1981. Abel served as location manager of Spring Creek Enterprises since 2001. He was Catholic by faith.
Abel was a hard-working family man. He had a quiet demeanor and a remarkable work ethic. He led by example and never asked anyone to do anything he wasn't willing to do himself. His employer described Abel as the hardest working man he had ever encountered.
Abel's dedication to his work was fueled by love for his family. His family was the heart of his world. Abel found his greatest joy in time spent with his loved ones sharing meals and life's moments.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Maria Garcia-Mendoza; his children, Remedios Natalia, Dario, Ana Marina, Yareli, José Ignacio, Guadalupe de Jesus, and Sofia; his granddaughter, Victoria; several brothers & sisters; and a host of extended family. Abel was preceded in death by his parents.
