Abigail Leigh-Josephine Hunter, 23, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at her home.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, February 10th, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at 11:45am at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485.
Abigail was born on November 8th, 2001, in Summerville, a daughter of Therese Burton and Jason Tucker. Abigail attended Fort Dorchester High School and later started her career in the grocery business. She was employed by Walmart and was a faithful employee for almost 4 years. She had many enjoyments in life including music, video games, styling her hair and makeup and most of all, spending time with her beloved family. Abigail was always able to put a smile on someone's face. She was an avid Hello Kitty fan and had a love for her cats. Abigail was always known to speak her mind, no matter how that made you feel. She was known to march to the beat of her own drum.
She is survived by her loving parents: Therese Tucker and Jason Tucker; her loving sisters: Brandy Hunter-Smith (Brenton) and Brianna Tucker (Sky); her beloved nieces: Lilith Martin and Anna Smith; her loving grandparents: Therese Kramer and the late Harold Kramer, Hilda Walton and the late Franklin Walton and Marie Dixon, her loving aunts and uncles: Sharon Hunter, Susan McCabe, Amanda Kramer, Samantha Johnson, Christine Hucks (Bryce), Greg Walton (Judy) and Elizabeth Hart (Tony); her great aunts and uncles: Cathy Beam (Ted), Dan Cronin (Fran), Peggy Burbage, Sharon Golden and the late Craig Golden, and Edward Cronin, as well as many beloved cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry B. Hunter, Jr., her grandfather, Jerry B. Hunter, Sr. great-grandparents, William and Catherine Cronin and her loving cousin, Austin McCabe.
