Abigail Ann White, 76 of Overland Park, Kansas passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 1, 2025. Born June 2, 1949, in Perryville, MD. She is the loving daughter of the late William Harold and Catherine Elizabeth White. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Christopher White.
Abigail, also known as Abbie, graduated from Perryville High School in 1967, she than graduated from Cecil College with a degree in early childhood education. She taught at The Tome School in North East, MD and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for over 30 years, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed traveling and her cats Emily & Smokey.
Abbie is survived by her older sister Linda Strong of Aberdeen, MD. Nephew Brian (Angela) Strong of Perryville, MD, nephew William (Mary Lou) Strong of Perryville, MD, and niece Samantha Strong of Aberdeen, MD. Great niece Alyssa Strong (Corey Hunt), great nephew Zachary Strong (Samantha Keithley), great nephew Brady Strong, great niece Brook Strong, great nephew Jordan Coupling and his father Eric Coupling, great niece Mackenzie Strong, great great niece MaKenna Hunt, and great great nephew Landon Hunt.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 15, 2025, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, December 15, 2025, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Associate Pastor Chris Flosser of the Bethel Christian Center of Havre de Grace, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, Maryland.
