Abilio Gomes Obituary
He was born January 28, 1935, in Loures, Portugal, the son of Hilmdoro and Petronilia Frango Gomes. Billy grew up in Portugal, moving to the Unted States in 1966. Billy and his wife, Ines, lived in Bristol, Road Island, where they owned and operated Gomes Bus Lines. They later moved to Sealy, Texas, where they made their home in 2004.
Billy is survived by his wife: Ines Gomes of Sealy; sons: Carlos Gomes of West Greenwich, RI, Jorge Gomes of Rehoboth, MA, and Marco Paul Gomes of Bristol, RI; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother: Manuel Gomes of Portugal; sister: Celcia Gomes of Portugal; and numerous other family and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Jose Lima Gomes; two sisters: Estella Oliver, and Maria Catarina.
