Abraham Davis Obituary

A KINGLY TRIUMPH

Mr. Abraham Davis, Jr. was the son of the late Abraham and Betty Ann Davis, born on June 20, 1962, in Milford, DE. He was the fourth child of five: a sister, Betty Jean of Laurel, DE, late sister Diane Jones of Harbeson, DE, sister, Frances Scott of Ellendale, DE, sister, Carolyn Davis of Ellendale, DE sister, Sharon Hernandez of Milford,

DE and Penny Parker of Milford, DE.

He left behind his wife, Addie Davis of Magnolia, DE, and one brother-in-law, John Pollard of Magnolia, DE, his daughter, Shawanda Northan, and one grandchild, Sha'Ziyau Northan. He also left behind 2 step daughetrs,Martha Wright and Amanda Pollard, 8 step-grandchildren, who loved him dearly and one late step grandson, Hasaan Perry, along with a host of nieces,

nephews and cousins.

From a young age, Abraham showed strength and learned the art of survival. Affectionately known as

"Junior" by family and "Izham" by friends, Abraham's loyalty and laughter made him a cornerstone in every circle he belonged to. He spent his entire life being a andyman and making people laugh. He loved to fish. go crabbing and tell jokes.

He recently faced a serious health condition that changed his physical capabilities. But instead of letting that confine him, he continued to make others laugh and he fought until he couldn't fight anymore.

To his family, he was more than a brother or an uncle - he was a protector, a sage, and a symbol of what it means to walk with dignity through fire. He was known for his corny, yet funny jokes. His favorite joke was, "What do you call a dog with no legs?." Answer: You can call him all day. He's not coming 'cuz he has no legs. Though life tried to bend him countless times, he always bounced back - stronger, wiser, and more rooted in love.

On November 13, 2025, Abraham's earthly walk came to a peaceful end. But in every story told, every lesson passed down, and every laugh shared in his memory, Abraham Davis, Jr. lives on.
