Abraham Mose Jr., 65, of Valley St. New Haven, CT entered eternal rest May 3, 2014 with family by his side. He was born to the late Nettie Barr Mose and Abraham Mose Sr. September 3, 1948 in Kingstree, SC. He is the eldest of 14 siblings. As a child he attended Shiloh Baptist church where he was baptized. He attended Roosevelt High School in Lake Wales, FL. He was inducted into the army May 24, 1968 at 19 years old. He served during the Vietnam War with honorable discharge on May 23, 1970. Mr. Mose loved sports, traveling, music and fishing on his boat. He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving wife, Ruth Mose; daughter, Deon Mose of MA; step-sons, George Tisdale (Monique) of New Haven, Delvin Keene of MD; step-daughters, Doreen Hutchinson, Sheila, Patrice, and Cheryl Tisdale all of CT, Veronica Benjamin of TN, Kendra Keene of MD; brothers, Elder Raymond Mose (Shirley), Minister Charles Mose (Sandra), and Donis Mose all of FL, Minister Dennis Mose (Ilene) of CO, Harry Mose (Latrice) of GA; sisters, Evang. Margaret Mose of NC, Mazie Lawson (Rev. Fletcher), Pastor Sandra LaFaye Allen (Calvin), Sarah Mose, Nettie Mose and Janice Blue-Williams (Don) all of FL; 23 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his son, Abraham Mose III; his father and mother, Abraham Mose Sr. and Nettie Mose; his brother, Henry Mose; sisters Delores Johnson and Helen Mose.
