Years ago, I moved from New York to Santa Fe, and was fortunate to join the office where Abe worked. He was a wonderful friend, colleague and mentor. He was unfailingly kind and supportive. helping me launch my career as an advisor and settle into New Mexico. He introduced me to his family and shared stories of his amazing mother. My residence in New Mexico was brief, but the impact of his kindness to a newcomer far from home who had just lost her father was long lasting. Rest in peace, Abe. You have earned it. Thank you, Sherry for sharing the sad news. My heart goes out to you and the girls. He was definitely one of the good ones.

I grew up in the Casa Alegre neighborhood and remember Abe growing up there as well. My Sincere Condolences go out to the entire Garcia family. May he rest in Peace with his Lord our God.
