Ada Pacheco Campolongo passed away on January 28, 2025 under the care of Regency Area Hospice and The Gardens Memory Care. She was a longtime resident of Savannah, GA from 1986 after relocating from Suffern, New York. Ada was born in 1940 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She is the widow of her dear husband of 47 years, William J. Campolongo, who passed away in 2012. They met in 1960 in Manhattan, New York when William was just a rookie in the NYPD. She is the mother of Joseph (who passed in 2009), Louise, and Rita (spouse of Hector Gamez). She has 4 grandchildren, Ada Marie Campolongo, Neil Patrick White, Antoinette Louise White, and Jon Martin Gamez. She has 3 great grandchildren, Aliyah, Maelynn and Layla. Her parents were Dionisio Pacheco and Eufrosina Rodriguez de Pacheco. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 10:00 am at St Matthew Catholic Church.
Interment will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Bonaventure / Greenwich Cemetery in Savannah, GA.

I obviously knew your Dad very well, but I never had the oppertunity to meet my Aunt Ada. I am sorry for your loss and I wish I could find the right words to comfort both of you at this time. Louise and Reta, I hope the Lord watches over you both.
