Ada Cerra Obituary

Ada Cerra, 91, of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025. She was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late William and Betty Kreisel. Ada was the loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother a family could ask for. The family sees so much in the grandchildren that reminds them of her every day. In 91 years, she was an amazing role model to her family and her grandchildren, for which they are very thankful. Even now she is in a better place; it doesn't make the hurt any less. Ada will be deeply missed by her children, Kenneth Cerra of Murrysville and Linda Hudak of Export; and her puppy, Buddy. Ada was a proud, loving grandmother and great-grandmother to John Cerra (Kristen Soloman) and great-grandchildren Colton, Callianne, Molley, Jake, Abbey, and Miles, whom she loved dearly. Respecting the family's wishes, arrangements are private. VAIA FUNERAL HOME INC., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont (724-468-1177), has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ada's memory may be made to The Society of Westmoreland County Animal Shelter, Humane Society RD, Greensburg, PA 15601.
