When visiting our grandparents as a child I met Rose, who was dating her future husband, Ralph. As they were getting in a car to leave, Grandpa came out to say that Ralph had a call from Rose. Obviously another Rose! Our Ada Rose teased the embarrassed Ralph mercilessly about it. Her poise and humor impressed me for a lifetime.

I hadn't seen Rose in probably what is a lifetime to some people.
When she heard from Leanne that I was having a baby shower for my son, she jumped in full speed ahead and knitted a bunch of different colored booties of various sizes to use as table decorations. Not only were the beautiful, my granddaughter can wear them to keep her little feet warm. Then, the icing on top was that she made me a matching pair. I am so thankful that I was able to visit with her for a bit before she left us to go to a much better place. An angel here on earth, that I was blessed to know, is now lighting up the heavens with her beautiful soul!
