Ada R. Vasquez, 75, of Easton, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 23, 1948 in San German, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Blas Torres and Herminia Matos-Velasquez. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from St. Peter's University, Jersey City, NJ. Ada worked as a bilingual clerk for the welfare office in New Jersey until her retirement.
Ada was an incredibly hard-working and dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed raising her daughters and watching them flourish into the women they are today. She loved dining out with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Delgado; Michelle Negron and her husband, Rich; Isabelle Davidson; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Blas Antonio Torres; sister, Minerva Tucci and her husband, Richard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Vasquez; daughter, Gina Vasquez; and a sister, Lina Torres.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed by a funeral service at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.). Interment will take place at Plainfield Cemetery, 1422 Church Road, Pen Argyl, PA. Memorial contributions in Ada's name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
