Jesus T. Vasquez

Jesus T. Vasquez, born on March 4, 1935, in Alice, Texas, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Turlock, California. He was 90 years old. Jesus was the cherished son of Pedro and San Juana Vasquez.

Jesus married his beloved wife, Tomasita, on May 6, 1954, in Alice, where they began their life together. The couple moved to California, living in Salinas and Watsonville before settling in Turlock. Jesus had a fulfilling career as an auto mechanic and in auto sales. He also served honorably in the military.

A devout member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Jesus spent many meaningful hours at the Kingdom Hall. His faith was an important aspect of his life, providing him with strength and community.

Jesus was passionate about dancing and working on cars. His skills as a mechanic were not just professional but also a personal passion that he enjoyed in his leisure time.

Jesus is survived by his son, Jesus Vasquez Jr.; daughters, Yolanda Lugo, Cristela Hernandez, Norma Rocha; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and San Juana Vasquez; his wife, Tomasita Vasquez; sons, Jose Vasquez and Abel Vasquez; and his great-granddaughter, Elena Rose Vasquez.

A service to celebrate the life of Jesus T. Vasquez will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
