Larry DeRossett

Larry James DeRossett, Sr. of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026 at his residence in Eldon, Missouri. He was born September 30, 1946 in Eldon, Missouri to James Wesley and Marie Vivian (Sparks) DeRossett. Larry spent the first thirty-two years of his life in Eldon, Missouri.

On June 3, 1966 he was united in marriage to Connie J. (Horton) of Ulman, MO. In September of 1967 they were blessed with a son, Larry James, Jr. In 1979 the family moved to Walla Walla, WA and in 1994 to Turlock, CA.

Larry worked for Central Missouri Turkey Hatchery in Eldon, MO for over fifteen years. While living in Walla Walla, he worked as maintenance for two prominent motel chains and in California he was maintenance for two apartment complexes. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football.

Surviving him are his wife, Connie of the home; sister, Wanda Coffman (Bob) of Eldon, MO; his in-laws, David Horton, Donna Sadowski, Judy Golembeck, Peggy Jean Roe, many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his best friend, Howard Green.

Along with his parents, his son "Jim" and a brother and sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Eastside Assembly of God Church of Eldon, MO. with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 AM. Private Family Interment at the Eldon City Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials in his name are suggested to Eastside Assembly of God Church.
