Bernadine Louise DeRossett

Bernadine Louise DeRossett, 69, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at her residence. She was born on June 23, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, to the late John Sr. and Betty (nee Brosh) Storll.

On October 13, 1984, Bernadine married the love of her life, John "Johnny" DeRossett, in Belleville, IL. They shared many beautiful memories until his passing on November 16, 2007.

Bernadine worked as a concrete estimator. Above all, she cherished time spent with family. She and Johnny enjoyed traveling, especially to Upper Michigan and Lake Superior, where they created lasting memories together. Bernadine was known for her deep appreciation of family togetherness, and she will be remembered for her kindness and love for those around her.

She is survived by her four brothers: Joseph Storll of Edwardsville, John Jr. (Tina) Storll of Collinsville, IL, Brad (Pam) Storll of Livingston, IL, and Paul Storll, as well as her beloved nephew, Dustin Storll.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, where she will be laid to rest by her husband, Johnny. Rev. Ron Habermehl will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
