Adam Craven Obituary

.... of Townsend

TOWNSEND: Adam J. "Ajae" Craven, 32, of West Townsend passed away tragically, Monday, September 13th 2021, as a result of Injuries sustained in a single automobile accident. Adam was born in Nashua, NH February 12th, 1989, the son of James R. and Lisa A. (Garibotto) Craven and was a life-long resident of West Townsend, MA. Adam was an automobile enthusiast, talented artist, and creative writer. Two of his greatest pastimes were four-wheeling and working on cars. Growing up, he shared many special moments with his older brother, Michael, collecting and reading comic books together. Auto-cross was an exciting pursuit, and time well-spent with his dad and brother. Creating crafts with Grandma and his cousins was the heart of every holiday. Adventures with Mom searching for collectable Matchbox cars and Beanie Babies were always fruitful. Many summers were spent at the family camps, happily gathered with cousins, friends, and family. Visits with GG and Grandad, Adam's maternal grandparents, were always a time for insightful discussion, and he greatly valued the wisdom his grandparents shared. After graduating from North Middlesex High School in 2007, a huge accomplishment for him, Adam then continued a career working with his Dad in their custom cabinet shop. He was very meticulous and took pride in his work. This same passion and attention to detail could be seen in the homemade holiday cards he so often enjoyed creating for his family. Adam cherished the time spent drawing comic characters with Grandad and attending car shows with Grandpa (Gpa). Adam was a kind, sensitive, and caring person. He loved his family and his pets, especially his cat, Webzy. In addition to his loving parents, Adam "Ajae" leaves his brother, Michael and financé, Tiffany, of Leominster; his paternal grandfather, James Craven of West Townsend; his maternal grandmother, Rosemae C. Garibotto of Leominster as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

An endearing message from his parents:

Dear Adam (Ajae), Life was filled with struggles, and, throughout the challenges, you worked hard to hold onto to hope in becoming all that you were meant to be. We treasure being a part of your journey and pray that you have found peace in your eternal home. We love and miss you. Love, Mom & Dad
