Adam, a devoted follower of Christ, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and U.S. Army Veteran, was born in Charleston, SC on April 20, 1952. The son of George and Agnes Jacobs, Adam grew up in Summerville, SC.

Adam served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He founded AM Jacobs Inc. in 1985 and successfully ran it alongside his family and many cherished colleagues and employees until his passing.

Adam is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Rachel; his son and daughter-in-law, Reiley and Caroline; and his three cherished granddaughters: Mary Langston, Emogene, and Louisa. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Georgia Meador; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Linda) and Richard Lacey; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Adam’s life was spent in the service of others, his country, his family, and, above all, Christ. He will be deeply missed, but he will be remembered well for his exemplary generosity, love, and strength.
