"From a beautiful Soul on earth to an Angel in heaven"
Adam passed away suddenly on July 4th, 2025. He was 41 years young. His passing will forever leave a hole in our hearts.
Born on August 21, 1983 in Southfield, Michigan, Adam was the younger of two sons to Theresa (Schwartz) Moncrieff and Roger Moncrieff. He attended Pearl Lean grade school and Warren Mott high school, graduating in 2002. He was class president and leader for many years. Soon after, he went on to Central Michigan University, graduating in 2008, where he received his Bachelor of Applied Arts degree.
Affectionately known as the “Duke” by his mom Terri and “Adam-ski” by his Aunt Sandi, Adam loved to play football in high school. The Detroit Lions was his favorite team. He loved to play golf and also play a rousing game of “Name Your Pick” and sometimes a good poker game.
Adam was predeceased in death by his father Roger Moncrieff, Uncle Dale Moncrieff, Grandmother Virginia Schwartz, Grandmother Margaret Moncrieff and Grandfather Donald Moncrieff.
He is survived by his mother Theresa Moncrieff (Tim McNamara), brother Justin Moncrieff, sisters Dawn Vibert Bowes & Christy Vibert, Aunt Sandi Schwartz (Jim), Aunt Karen Moncrieff-Godmother (Ken), Danny Moncrieff-Godfather (Turaida) and many cousins.

He had a great heart and always was a friend to all he crossed paths with’. ‘Adam was always there for his friends. A great human being and a pure gentleman’. ‘Adam was one of a kind, a gentle soul with a big heart. He will be greatly missed!’ ‘While I’m heartbroken by this loss, I know so many others are too and feel the way I do—because Adam made everyone feel seen, loved, and valued. I hope the memories he gave us bring comfort to all who are feeling his loss’. His fraternity brothers expressed deep sorrow in his passing.
