Adam V. Tanzi, 46, of Smithfield, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Born on April 17, 1979, in Warwick, Rhode Island, Adam lived a vibrant life filled with energy, passion, and deep devotion to those he loved.
Adam was the beloved husband of Sarah A. (Dordine) Tanzi. Together they built a life rooted in love and shared joy. He was a proud father to Luciano and Santino Tanzi and Noah Holderman-his greatest pride and source of endless happiness. His family was the center of his world, and he embraced fatherhood with unwavering dedication and enthusiasm.
He was the cherished son of Ronald V. and Erna (Abel) Tanzi of North Providence. Their guidance and support helped shape Adam into the dynamic individual so many came to know and love.
Adam had a zest for life that was impossible to ignore. Known as the life of the party, his presence lit up every room he entered. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or diving into conversations about cars or travel destinations, Adam brought excitement and laughter wherever he went. His love for sports ran deep, often sharing that passion with friends and family. Cars were another lifelong interest-which he passed onto his boys. Attending many summer car shows together with them. Traveling offered him a sense of adventure that matched his outgoing spirit; he relished exploring new places and creating lasting memories along the way.
At home, Adam found companionship in his two dogs, Raven and Leia. His love of dogs led him to begin volunteering at the RISPCA during his free time.
Adam's legacy is one of joy, connection, and wholehearted living. He will be remembered for his infectious energy, his fierce love for his family and friends he considered family, and the countless moments he made brighter simply by being himself.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue,
West Warwick, RI, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00 p.m.
