We want to say thank you. We understand that no words can be adequate for your sorrow. We certainly do not want to intrude upon your privacy. As Americans we want you to know that we deeply appreciate the ultimate sacrifice your loved one has made for all of us. We also would like for you to be aware that with this letter comes our special concern and prayers for you. We are all safer because young men and women who love their country, and know the value of a free nation, are willing to put themselves in harms way, and lay down their lives to keep this nation free and safe for all of us.
Your sacrifice is also very great. There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

I did not know your son, but, I received an e-mail from a friend with a story of a painted Hummer that was seen driving across the Country. What makes this particular Hummer so unique is that it had pictures of fallen Marines painted on the vehicle, and your son's picture is displayed.
Because Kaiser is a common name in my area I looked his name up and saw the same picture that is on the Hummer. I'm not sure if your family knows this Hummer exists, but it is an incredible tribute to your son and the other brave Marine's that died that day.
I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that your family has gone through. I wish there were a way to put the e-mail on this site so your family can see this beautiful tribute and know that other's really do care (but I'm not that computer literate.)
If anyone in your family would like a copy of the e-mail, please feel free to send me an e-mail-- please put LCpl Kaiser in the subject line, and I will proudly forward it to you or any of his friends that requests a copy.

I am so sorry for your loss.. I lost my fiance (PFC Christopher Alcozer; KIA: 11/19/2005 Mosul, Iraq) just a few weeks before your love one did.. Also, I'm not sure if you still remember, but my Christopher's mom visited your son's memorial service last year..
I hope you find peace and comfort in knowing that God is the strength of our hearts and He TRULY would walk with us through this valley of grief even though we might not yet understand what His purposes are for calling our loved ones so soon to be home with Him. I empathize with you, and we're not alone in this. On my behalf and the Marines of G 2/7 Vietnam please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. I never met Adam but I know of his spirit and courage. The Marines have a motto of Semper Fidelis, always faithful! Know that your son will live in the hearts of his fellow Marines forever. He was performing a heroic mission on behalf of America and will not be forgotten!!

Only you, the family and friends know the true hurt that comes from the loss of Adam. I can only let you know so many mourn your loss and respect deeply what Adam and so many others have done to preserve the freedoms we enjoy everyday. We read Adam's story in the Daily Herald and wept that you have lost such a wonderful young man who loved being a Marine. We are so very, very sorry for your heartbreaking loss. Our world will be so much less without Adam here but we are so thankful for his service and sacrifice. He was an honorable man. May God hold you in His hand as we wait for the day when there will be no more sorrow or tears.

All of the men I am still in contact with asked me to express their grief to the family and also their pride in Adam and the other Marines who give so much for our freedom and security in Iraq. As a Vietnam Marine Corps Corpsman veteran I know there are no words I can offer to lessen your loss. As a military veteran though I know that he knew he served in a noble cause for the people of Iraq and for our great country. I can only imagine the pain you must be feeling during this time of loss. Adam and I trained together at Tae Kwon Do for a little over three years, and I learned much from his enthusiasm for the sport. He was quiet but mighty. I just wish that he was here today to see, hear, and read how much he was loved by his family, friends, and the community. I deeply admire his bravery and commitment to the armed services and I will always remember the driven attitude he displayed daily during our time together.
