Adan H. Salas, 85 of Ropesville, TX and formerly of Charco, TX was born January 17, 1940 in Charco, Tx to Cesario Salas, Sr. and Patrocina H. Salas. He married Victoria Petra Martinez June 14, 1959 in Charco, TX. Adan retired after working for the South Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed playing dominoes & bingo, fishing & dancing. He was also a softball coach for the "Cobras" in Goliad, TX. But most of all he loved his family and was a wonderful dad and grandfather.

Adan went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 17, 2025. His parents: Cesario Salas, Sr. & Patrocina H. Salas, a daughter: Melinda S. Hernandez & her husband Bobby Hernandez, a great-granddaughter: Riley Faith Escobedo and 6 siblings: Manuel Salas, Cesario Salas, Jr., Emilio Salas, Juanita Escobedo, Leonisio Salas, Sr. & Gabriel Salas all preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 66 years: Petra Salas of Ropesville, 4 sons: Adan Salas, Jr. of Ropesville, Oscar Salas (Loretta) of Lubbock, Reynaldo Salas (Rachel) of Richmond, TX , & Michael Salas (Rebecca) of Ropesville, 5 daughters: Melissa Escobedo (Rene) of Ropesville, Christina Rodriquez (Oscar) of Richmond, TX, Dianne Salas Rodriguez (George) of Needville, TX, Esmeralda Salas of Ropesville, TX, & Eloisa Valdez of Runge, TX, 37 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren, 3 grandchildren he & Petra raised: Adam Salas III of Ropesville, Angela Guzman (Manuel) of Ropesville, & Isaac Salas of San Antonio, TX, along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Viewing will begin at 12:00pm Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with the Rosary from 6:00 to 7pm in the same chapel. Graveside services will be at 1:00pm Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Ropesville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Escobedo, Aaron Guzman, Oscar Salas, Jr., Phillip Salas, Adam Salas, III, Cody Salas, Damien Hernandez, & Christopher Rodriiguez.

Arrangements are under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
