Marvin Malvin Mauldin, 87 of Lubbock was born September 28, 1938 in Ft. Worth, TX to Marvin Marion Mauldin & Mattie (Alexander) Mauldin. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1956 and later went to Texas Tech and received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He was in the Texas Tech Band and the Kappa Kappa PSA Band Fraternity. Malvin enjoyed snow skiing in Colorado & New Mexico with his fraternity brother: George. Malvin was a veteran of the United States Army. His title was an Adjutant General Corps from 1956 to 1957. He was a student assistant from 1959 to 1972 at Texas Tech and worked at the Tech Library for 21 years. He went to Highland Baptist Church. Malvin began working as a crew manager before he was a full time inventory specialist for WIS International since Jan. 1982. Malvin had been a camera collector since 1976.

Malvin went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 27, 2026. His parents: Marvin & Mattie Mauldin & his sister: Kay Marion Brown were waiting for him at Heaven's gate.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sister: Marilyn Sckerl & her husband Herb of Hoschton, Georgia, 2 nieces: Teri Dias & husband Wayne of Hoschton, GA & Heather Harrison of Colorado Springs, CO., nephew: Bert Sckerl, his brother-in-law: Frank Brown of Sulpher Bluff, TX, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, as well as a host of friends.

Services & viewing will be at 2:00pm Wednesday February 4, 2026 at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth. Malvin will be entombed at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Cemetery in Wolfforth under the care of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.
