Adele G. Beaulieu

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Adele Beaulieu, 89, of Smithfield RI on November 08, 2022.

Born in Smithfield, RI, a daughter of the late Roland and Adele Rogers Payette. She grew up in Smithfield, RI and graduated from St. Xavier's Academy in Providence. Adele and husband Ernest Beaulieu had owned and operated the Beaulieu Rest Home in Harrisville RI, which was her pride and joy. She poured her heart and soul into this successful business. Adele lived a very full and active life. She enjoyed needlecraft, travelling, bowling, gardening, golf and cooking and became an accomplished Bridge Master.

She was a lifelong member of the Glocester Country Club. Adele was politically active and took a keen interest in local events. Adele enjoyed entertaining and was always the life of the party. In her retirement years, Adele lived in Bradenton, FL, recently coming back to Smithfield to be near her family.

Adele is survived by her children; Paula Perry (Thetford VT), Sylvia Smith (Hartford VT), Roxanne Carr (Woonsocket RI), Michele Wilson (Harrisville RI), and Ernest Beaulieu,(Middlebury CT) and 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday November 19th in Saint Phillip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI. Burial will be private.
