Adelia Folts Obituary
Adelia M. Folts, age 86, of Gladwin, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1939, the daughter of William and Barbara Dickinson. She married the love of her life, Robert Folts. Together, they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories until he preceded her in death in 2004.
Adelia had a warm and generous heart, always opening her home and arms to anyone in need. She had a deep love for people and a special gift for making everyone feel welcome. A devoted member of the Gladwin Church of the Nazarene for many years. She found joy in the simple pleasures—baking, gardening, and tending to her home. But above all, Adelia’s greatest love was caring for children. Her nurturing spirit touched many lives, and her kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Linda (Thomas) Ulch, Correna (Victor) Shukait, Doug (Maureen) Folts; foster daughter: Lisa Govea; grandchildren: Mike (Jamie), Steven, Andrea, Alyssa, and Ryan (Emelie); Correna’s godchildren: Janice, Andrea, and Mark; foster grandchildren: Leslie (James) Sharp and Duen (Melissa) Govea; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Logan, Nolan, Daton, Ian, Noah, Liam and Eian; foster great-grandchildren: Ashley, James Sharp IV, Chace, Taven, Rowan and Zayden; great-great grandchildren: Delilah and Milo; siblings: Barb, Ellen, Florence, Kathy, Sue, Sadie, Rose, Charlotte, and Steve; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Emma and Sam.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in accordance with the wishes of the family. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
