Adolfo Marin, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Downey, California, at the age of 79. Born on June 3, 1946, in Havana, Cuba, Adolfo's life was characterized by a strong work ethic and a commitment to his family.

With an impressive career as a general mechanic in the auto industry spanning over 65 years, Adolfo was well-respected by colleagues and clients alike. His technical expertise and unwavering dedication to his craft made him a valued member of the automotive community.

In addition to his professional achievements, Adolfo proudly served in the Army, where he contributed to the safety and security of his country. His military service exemplified his character and sense of responsibility, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life.

Adolfo will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Georgina Marin of Downey, and their children—daughters Marisela Marin (Gabriel Padilla) of Beaumont and Gladys Kerr (Michael Kerr) of Downey, and son Adolfo Marin (Junella Marin) of La Mirada. He took great joy in his grandchildren: Elizabeth Sanchez of Indio, Brianna Sanchez of Downey, Ryan Sanchez of Downey, Justin Kerr of Downey, Alana Marin of La Mirada, Aiden Marin of La Mirada, Julia Kerr of Downey, and Alec Marin of La Mirada. The light of his life was his great-granddaughter, Persephone Sanchez Chavez of Indio, who brought him immense joy.

Adolfo's legacy will live on through the love he shared with his family and the memories they created together. He leaves behind a profound impact on all who knew him, cherished as a man of integrity and warmth.
