Adonis Smith

The community mourns the unexpected loss of Adonis James Smith, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at 5 months old. He leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on January 8, 2024 in Logansport, he brought joy and love to his family and friends.

Adonis was a beloved son, born to Xavier Smith and Brandy Maple Smith of Silver Lake. He was also a cherished brother to Everly Grace Smith, who survives at home. Adonis's presence brightened the lives of his family every day.

In addition to his parents and sister, he is survived by his grandparents: Christy Barber, James and Raelynne Smith, and Jacob Maple and great-grandmothers: Sue Penn and Janice Rhodes. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins Their fond memories of Adonis will be held close to their hearts as they navigate this difficult time. He was preceded in passing by great-grandfathers: Roy Penn and Robert Smith
