Adornino (Tony) Cermignani

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adornino (Tony) Cermignani on Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a lengthy illness, he is finally free of pain. He is survived by his wife Alida, daughters Sandra and Lori, his three grandchildren Vincenzo, Joey and Nicky, sister Alda, late husband Santino, brother Mario, wife Elide, late sister Rosina and late husband Ettore all of Italy, his late brother Gino, sister-in-law Audrey, sister-in-law Angela and husband Ernesto Caravaggio, sister-in-law Gianna and late husband Mario of Italy, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. Tony was an employee of Stelco local 1005 for 39 and a half years. He loved soccer, especially his beloved Juventus. He played bocce at Sam Manson Club with his many friends. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 4-9 pm with Prayers at 4 pm. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Church, 146 Park St North, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery,681 Mud St East, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory may be made to your favourite charity.
