Adrian A. Aumen Sr.

Adrian A. Aumen, Sr., age 88, of Spring Grove, passed away at Hanover Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation on November 1, 2025. He was the loving husband of Leslie M. (Green) Aumen; together they shared 37 years of marriage.
Adrian was born in New Oxford, PA on March 5, 1937 and was the son of the late Bernard F. and Bertha M. (Smith) Aumen. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and National Guard. Adrian later worked for Sears for 32 years and Utz Quality Foods for 7 years. He was also an avid hunter and a member of the Parkside Hunting Camp.
In addition to his loving wife Leslie, Adrian is survived by his children Victoria Aumen-Bair, Anthony Aumen and wife Teresa, Adrian Aumen, Jr., and Melissa Jacobs and husband Brian; his grandchildren Joshua (Stephanie), Maxwell (Brianna), Anabelle (Colby), Jacob, Luke, Hank (Laura), Derrick (Erica), Mathew (Sonia), and Cody; and his great-grandchildren Caylee, Brooklyn, Nataliegh, Lennon, Peyton, Parker, Macie, and Waylon. He is also survived by his sister Bertha Kuhn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adrian was preceded in death by his son-in-law Clifford L. Bair who passed away on February 12, 2022; and his siblings Bernard F. Aumen, Jr., Rev. Paul J. Aumen, Sr. Paula Mary Aumen, RSM, Estella Gebhart, Philip Aumen, Thomas Aumen, Lawrence Aumen, Theresa DelRosso, and Charlotte Hull.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Adrian's Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover, PA 17331 with Rev. Michael W. Rothan as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Hanover. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344 with prayers at 7:00PM.
