ORLEANS – Adrian Brian Cassidy, 31, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Born August 25, 1994, in Bedford, he was the son of Dennis "Brian" and Meloni (Brooks) Cassidy.

Adrian was a 2013 graduate of Orleans High School. He worked as a welder and did farm and construction work. Adrian had many interests; whether he was writing poetry or song lyrics, studying history, or making art. He enjoyed working on cars and taking them apart. The outdoors were special to him and he also liked fishing. Adrian had a great sense of humor and always had to be the star of the show and the center of attention in any room, but he still always tried to do more for others than for himself.

Surviving are his parents, Brian and Meloni Cassidy of Orleans; sister, Taylor (Jeremy) Cartwright of Bedford; grandparents, Violet and Steve McWilliams of Dayton, Ohio, Michael Brooks of Bedford, and Charles Grider of Orleans; aunt and uncles, Michael and Brandi Cassidy of Mitchell and Dave Brooks of Mitchell; cousins, Aaron Richards of Illinois and Alex Cassidy; niece, Penelope Cartwright of Bedford and a nephew on the way; mentor and friend, Bob Quesenberry; and his dog, Bonni Jo.

His grandparents, Genny Grider and Denny Cassidy, preceded him in death.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 21, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. As sung by Kurt Cobain, please "Come As You Are," and wear your everyday clothes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the mental health or rehab facility of your choice, or to the White River Humane Society or the Dog Club of Mitchell.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
