Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Agapito Reymundo Herrera, quien partió de este mundo el 12 de marzo de 2026 a la edad de 51 años. Nació el 28 de septiembre de 1974 en Robstown, Texas, donde dejó una huella imborrable en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.

Agapito fue un hombre dedicado y trabajador, cuyo espíritu incansable resplandeció a lo largo de su vida. Su valentía y dedicación le permitieron proporcionar amor y estabilidad a su familia. Su legado perdurará a través de ellos y de los muchos que se sintieron inspirados por su ejemplo.

Herrera, Alexis Castillo; cinco hijas, Adriana Herrera (Will Luse), Salma Montoya, Jenifer Montoya, Marely Herrera, Arlethe Castillo; su madre, Amada Elizondo; un hermano, Jose Luis Raymundo; tres hermanas, Ana Maria Raymundo, Maria Del Carmen Raymundo y Aide Raymundo De La Garza. Tambien le sobreviven dos nietas, Sophia Herrera and Alexandria Garcia.

El velorio para honrar la vida de Agapito sera de las 12:00 PM a las 2:00 PM el lunes 16 de marzo de 2026 en la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de los Cielos. El servicio funebre empieza a las 2:00 PM el mismo día, brindando la oportunidad a amigos y seres queridos para rendir homenaje y recordar los momentos compartidos con él. El sepelio se culminará en Val Verde Memorial Gardens de Donna, TX a las 3:00 p.m., donde sus seres queridos se reunirán para despedirlo con amor y respeto.

Agapito Reymundo Herrera vivió su vida con pasión y alegría, tocando las vidas de muchos a su alrededor. Lo recordaremos con amor y gratitud, celebrando su vida y el tiempo que compartimos con él. Que descanse en paz.

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Agapito Reymundo Herrera, who departed this world on March 12, 2026, at the age of 51. He was born on September 28, 1974, in Robstown, Texas, where he left a lasting mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Agapito was a dedicated and hardworking man whose tireless spirit shone throughout his life. His courage and dedication allowed him to provide love and stability to his family. His legacy will live on through them and through the many people who were inspired by his example.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Raymundo Herrera; a brother, Carlos Alberto Raymundo; and a granddaughter, Angelina Luse.

Agapito is survived by his three sons, Jose A. Herrera (Monica Gonzalez), Carlos A. Herrera, and Alexis Castillo; his five daughters, Adriana Herrera (Will Luse), Salma Montoya, Jenifer Montoya, Marely Herrera, and Arlethe Castillo; his mother, Amada Elizondo; one brother, Jose Luis Raymundo; and three sisters, Ana Maria Raymundo, Maria Del Carmen Raymundo, and Aide Raymundo De La Garza. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Sophia Herrera and Alexandria Garcia.

The visitation honoring the life of Agapito will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM the same day, providing family and friends the opportunity to pay their respects and remember the moments they shared with him.

The burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas, where his loved ones will gather to bid him a final farewell with love and respect.

Agapito Reymundo Herrera lived his life with passion and joy, touching the lives of many around him. He will be remembered with love and gratitude as we celebrate his life and the time we were blessed to share with him.
