He is survived by one daughter, Lesa Ford Anderson and her husband Dale; one son, Jeffery Ford; one sister, Barbara Hamrick; one brother, Bobby Ford and his wife Louise; one granddaughter, Holly Lowman and her husband Nathan; two great grandchildren, Sawyer and Brooks Lowman; and a number of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Crowe's Funeral Chapel, 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Rev. Jason Salyers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oakland Living Center's Activity Program, 704 Poors Ford Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt "Thank You" to the staff of Oakland Living Center for their kindness and loving care shown to "Uncle Dean" during his time with them.
