AGNES DOROTHY BELL

BELL, Agnes Dorothy (Nash) Of South Boston, passed away peacefully, on February 2, 2026, surrounded by love. She was the beloved daughter of the late John and Mary (Hurley) Nash, and the cherished sister of Patricia Hamilton of South Boston and the late Marie Hashem of Revere. Agnes was a devoted and loving mother to Mary Ellen and Tom Correa of Connecticut, Cindy Nascarella of South Boston, Kathleen and Paul Szabo of Wayland, Denise Bell of South Boston, Bob and Laurie Bell of Florida, David and Carrie Bell of South Weymouth; and the mother-in-law of Debi Bell of Fall River. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren, Gabriel Correa, Joseph, Andrew, and Danielle Nascarella, Tiffany Sewatsky, Katie Bell, Jacob Thompson, Jessica, Matthew, Jake, Nicholas and Zachary Bell; and a loving great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren. She was also a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews of the Bell, Hamilton, and Hashem families. Visitation will be held at O'Brien Funeral Home, 146 Dorchester St., SOUTH BOSTON, on Sunday, February 8, from 12–3 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Brigid Church, 841 East Broadway, South Boston, on Monday, February 9, at 10 AM. Interment at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
