Agnes I. Burt, 83, of Goodells, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 with her loving family by her side.
She was born September 29, 1939 in Jeddo to the late Lee and Marion Wolfe. She married Allen W. Burt on October 15, 1960. They were married for 62 wonderful years.
Agnes graduated from Yale High School in 1957. She enjoyed doing arts/crafts, cooking, and baking cookies. Agnes baked and decorated birthday cake, wedding cakes, and graduation cakes. Agnes and her husband enjoyed planting a garden every year, and then canning the vegetables. She was member of the Eastern Stars for over 50 years. Agnes and her family enjoyed camping in a tent and then upgraded to a travel trailer. She was a seamstress for many year, and then she worked at H&R Block for over 10 years. Agnes favorite past time was putting jigsaw puzzles together. She enjoyed collecting anything with
hummingbirds. She enjoyed doing activities with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Burt, one son, Charles (Ann Marie) Burt, and two daughters; Cynthia Hawkins, and Christina (Loren) Moutoux; three grandsons: Matthew (Amanda) Moutoux, Travis (Sarah) Moutoux, and Zachary Burt; one granddaughter, Heather Burt, and two step granddaughters; Amanda (James) Ross, and Melissa (Jeremy) Kennison; three step great grandsons, and one great granddaughter. One brother Nelson (Valerie) Wolfe, a brother-in-law Walter Domann, and a sister-in-law Eleanor Wolfe, as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with two very close friends of the family Debbie (Timothy) y and Ray Theut and one god-daughter, Tiffany Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers Gerald
and Howard Wolfe, a sister Beatrice Brown, a brother-in-law Edwin Brown, and two sister-in-laws Bonnie Wolfe and Arzilla Domann.
Remembrance gathering for Agnes Burt on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 1:00 to4:00 p.m. at The Burt's home.
