Agnes R. Larkin

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother Agnes R. Larkin of Norwich on August 12, 2023 at the age of 93. She was surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Agnes R. Larkin was born on April 2, 1930. Predeceased by her husband Wallace E. Larkin Sr. on January 20, 2009 and her son Bradford D. Larkin on November 14, 2019. Daughter of Charles E. Riley and Marie Vincent Riley.
Agnes was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was known for her many talents such as a water dowser, her healing touch, inventor, bird carver, and participated in many archaeological digs.
She was a member of the American Society of Dowsers for 41 years and CT Archaeology Society. During her years she designed and created the "Agnes Scoop" for use at archaeological digs. Agnes worked for the government as a U.S.D.A Inspector. She also designed and built a spiritual labyrinth in the backwoods of her Norwichtown home. She was an avid fan of the UCONN women's basketball team, watching every game with her friend Jenette.
She is survived by her daughters Denise L. Adamik, Norma J. Tomes, Nancy C. Maruscsak and husband Mark, and daughter-in-law Cate R. Larkin.
Grandchildren; Thomas W. Adamik jr. and Trish, Peter J. Adamik and Melodie, Tracy L. Marshall and Kyle,, Robert P. Johnson and Shannon, Virgina A. Butler and Chris, Nicholas J. Donner and Shyann, Nathaniel R. Maruscsak and Sarena, Ryan E. Tamborra and Anthony, and Meagan E. Larkin.
Great grandchildren; Kendall, Alexis, Tyson, Pepperjean, Quinntessa, Evan, Christopher, Milagro, Caleb, Aiden, Brayden, Larkin, Alivia, Drake, Jack, Aryah, and Nicholas Jr.
