Agnes Sapp Obituary
Bunny was born on June 15, 1935 in Belmont, NC to Mark and Agnes Hedrick. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She married Ellery Edgar Sapp on June 2, 1956.
A loving mother and grandmother, Bunny was known for her memorable laugh, sense of humor, generosity, spirituality, and love of family. She had an open heart and was always ready to welcome neighbors, friends, and family into her home to enjoy a good conversation, play a few games, and laugh along with her. When not entertaining, she enjoyed reading and working in her yard. She loved to write and would often compose poems for her children and grandchildren.
Bunny wrote in her own words, "When I am gone, I hope my life has been an inspiration to at least one person and a benediction to many."
Bunny was preceded in death by her husband, Ellery Edgar; two children, Philip and Jenny; four brothers and five sisters; and one grandchild. She is survived by four children, Tim, Chris, Jon, and Catherine; two sisters, Barbara and Genevieve; seventeen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Friday, November 10, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Both will be held at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home at 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
