Visitation will be held for Mr. Agustin Barrera Lopez, 80, of Grand Saline, from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Bartley Funeral Home.
Agustin passed away February 9, 2026, in Grand Saline. He was born September 7, 1945, in Nueva Consepcion, Guatemala, to Victor Manuel Barrera & Balbina Lopez. He worked for J. Berry Nursery in Grand Saline and was a member of Cristo Mi Refugio. Agustin is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Consuelo Barrera; and daughter, Eliberta Barrera.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Encarnacion Maldonado; three daughters, Alba L. Barrera of Canyon Lake, Ana S. Barrera of San Antonio, and Olga L. Barrera of San Antonio; brother, Daniel Lopez of Guatemala; nine grandchildren, Heather, Matthew, Amber, Carlos, Sergio, Brandon, Emily, Francisco, and Vincent; two great-grandchildren, Anthony, and Theo; and numerous other relatives and friends.
