Aida Lopez Carrillo, lovingly known as Aida, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on July 24, 1943, in the vibrant city of Guadalajara, MX. Her life was marked by her unwavering faith, her undeniable courage, and strength that she modeled for her family.

Though Aida was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Josefina and Pilar Lopez, and her dear siblings Jose Lopez, Francisco Lopez, and Elvia Contreras, her legacy continues through her remaining family. Aida's spirit is carried on by her devoted children, Josefina Monzon and Mike Carrillo, and her adoring grandchildren, Nadine Barraza, Nicholas Barraza, Brenden Monzon, Joshua Carrillo, Olivia Carrillo, and her great-grandson, Mattox Lara. Her siblings Jaime Lopez, Leticia Lopez Swart, and Hilda Lopez also survive her, keeping the memories of their beloved sister close to their hearts.

Aida's life was a testament to her strength and dedication. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly, taking on various jobs and spending nights at Levis to ensure her children, Josie and Mike, were well cared for and loved. Her sacrifices and hard work were the foundation upon which her family was built, and her resilience in the face of life's challenges was nothing short of inspirational.

Beyond her work, Aida found joy and solace in her faith. Her voice was a staple in the church choir, where she sang with passion and grace. She was a regular at church functions, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. For Aida, family was her priority, and she nurtured her relationships with the same love and attention she gave to her faith.

Those who knew Aida will remember her as a woman, whose faith-filled heart guided her through life's storms and her courageous spirit enabled her to face them head-on. She was a reliable source of comfort and support to her family and friends.

As we bid farewell to Aida Lopez Carrillo, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a woman dearly loved. Her memory will be honored by all who were fortunate enough to know her, and her teachings will continue to resonate within the hearts of her family. Aida's life story is one of unwavering love, enduring strength, and a faith that moved mountains. She will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will remain an everlasting presence in the lives she touched.
