Al Gabossi was born October 14, 1941, in Oak Creek, CO. He was the youngest of 10 children. Oak Creek was his home until 1958. At that time he moved to Glenwood Springs to complete his senior year of High School.
In 1962 he married Gloria Bendetti, and they were happily married and best friends every single day of their 62 years together. Shortly after they married, Al began working at the Coors Brewing Company in Golden, CO where he worked for 34 years. The majority of his time at Coors was spent working as a supervisor in the warehouse.
Al loved watching the Broncos and playing video poker. His main love and source of joy however was his family. He never tired of giving them love and advice and making them laugh. Family was always his number one and he was adored by them all.
He is survived by his beloved wife Gloria, daughters Nancee Pronsati (Paul), Karla Dyess (Jarrod), grandchildren Matt McVey (Melissa), Kelsee Arnold (Ryan), Krista Meyer (Craig), Kenna Landauer (Keith) and great grandchildren Amalia and Maddox McVey, Harper, Hunter, and Hayes Meyer, Nora and Hank Arnold and baby girl on the way Landauer.
His was a life well lived.
