Al Lancaster Obituary
Originally from Little Washington, NC, he relocated to Lake Norman 35 years ago to continue his flying career. Al, an East Carolina graduate in Finance, served in the Air Force. Al loved anything on the water, boating and jet skiing. Al was known for his huge loving heart, and being such a generous and kind man.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Alton Lancaster.
Mr. Lancaster is survived by his wife of 33 years, Frances Wilson Lancaster, his step children, Gene Wilson, Donna Wilson Scott and Paige Wilson Hybarger, his sisters Kathy Rhem, and Dianne O'Merry, and brother Terry Lancaster, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at noon February 19th, 2024 at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Cornelius, followed by the funeral service at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church,
19920 Bethel Church Rd Cornelius, NC 28031.
