Our Alaina Brookneil Velasquez, who was born on January 10, 2021, departed from this life at home on May 8, 2021.
She was here with us for only a short time, but while she was here, she warmed everyone’s hearts, and especially made mommy, daddy, and her big brother smile. She will be remembered for her loving smile and big bows that lit a flame in everyone’s heart.

Also left to mourn her passing are: aunts, Alexa (Johnathan), Brooksy (Manny), and Aliyah, uncles, John (Danielle), Ignacio, Jr. (Elizabeth), Leslie (Lesshlee) Velazquez, Natalie, Ashley, Armando, and Jesus, all of Odessa; and a host of other great aunts and uncles; and special cousins, who will miss her very much are: Stefen, Dash, Rose, Noah, Camila, Daniel, and Samuel.
Alaina is preceded in death by her great grandfathers, Rogelio Garza, and Valerio Guerrero; and uncle, Valerio Guerrero, Jr., all from Odessa, TX.
Alaina’s parents would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who have reached out by visits, calls, or text messages.

Psalm 139: 13-14
For you formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works,
My soul knows it very well.
