Dear Rickie, Debbie and Jimmy,
I am very sorry I was not able to be at the shiva. Jack and I attended the funeral service but I never got a chance to talk to any of you.
I feel terrible about the loss of your Dad. He was a very interesting and caring person, besides being so much fun.
You Mom means a lot to me. Our parents, your grandparents, were friends and the relationship continues: Lainey and I have much affection for each other.
Be well, take care of Mom.
With much affection, Sandy Fleishman

Rick,
Our condolences to you and your family on the death of your father. When my late mother Ruth was at Rose Court your father was in rehab there for a while. We had pleasant conversations with him. The first time I met him was when you were a first-year medical student and he brought you to South Shore Hospital to check out the facility. I guess you liked what you saw.

A real happy Memory! from Barbara Carlin.

This happened quite a few years ago....Marcia and Peter Stagg, Lee Rosenberg and I were invited to have lunch with Alan and Elaine in their winter home in Florida in Bonita Springs. So, we 4 jumped into Peter and Marcia' car....the Stagg's and Rosenberg's lived in Boynton Beach and traveled cross the state of Florida to enjoy a sumptuous and elegant lunch hosted by Alan and Elaine in their dining room!! It took us 2+ hours to get there, but it was well worth the time. The conversation that took place between Alan and Peter reviewing some of their escapades early on in their friendship was hilarious and side splitting..... and probably would have lasted longer, if we only had the time to listen. It was a very happy day!

I like to think that Alan has made it his mission to find his beloved cousin Herbie and Peter and Lee. The thought of it makes me smile.

I met alan in the summer of 1957 . He and his cousins took this farmer from N.H. Into the group of friends. I cherish the day we became friends. I will always remember my days sailing and the day I was told to go below and get a couple of life jackets. It was rough sailing that day. As a teenager he always promised to protect me from the big city boys. He did more than once. I will miss my friend. Peter Lewis
