Alan D. Eade, 72, of Sandwich, IL. passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born October 25, 1952 in Sandwich, IL., the son of Dean & Fern (Swank) Eade. He married Joan Abens on June 28, 1980 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sandwich, IL. He was a lifetime member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge and the National Rifle Association. Alan put his hands to use in the skill he had in carpentry. He took a liking to all the time he spent with all the animals he came in contact with. Alan enjoyed spending time outdoors, going to Wisconsin fishing or bird watching. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and the bonus was getting to watch them participate in all their sporting events. All the time spent with his family was what he enjoyed most of all, especially shooting BB guns in the back yard with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Joan; three children, Nicole Hewitt (Tad Piron) of Sandwich, IL., Brad (Jackie) Eade of Somonauk, IL. and Heather (Jason) Dunker of Sycamore, IL.; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Samuel, Matthew Hewitt, Coleton and Kaydence Eade and Harper Dunker; one sister, Susan Burroway of Aurora, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his infant brother John Edward.
