Edwards Funeral Home - ArcolaAlan D. Ferguson, 61 of Humboldt, IL passed away at 8:48 AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main in Arcola, IL. Masonic Rites conducted by the Arcola Masonic Lodge 366 AF and AM will be held at 5:45 PM prior to the visitation on Friday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Edwards Funeral Home. Burial with Military Rites conducted by the Arcola Honor Guard will be held in Arcola Cemetery.
Alan’s family request casual dress at all services.
Alan was born on April 28, 1964 in Melbourne, FL, a son of Robert Dale and Martha Leah (Schrock) Ferguson. He married Pamela Jo Lauderback on March 13, 1995 in Arcola, IL.
He is survived by his wife Pam, three daughters, Crystal Ferguson (Rick Decarciofolo) of Syracuse, NY, Andrea Monfort (Travis Evans) of Arthur, IL, and Jerrica Lilley (Aron) of Abaline, TX; three grandchildren, Riheen Howell, Shayleigh Evans, and Brooke Lilley; three siblings, Larry Ferguson (Nicole) of Hosford, FL, Michael Haddon (Debbie) of Salem, IN, and Carol Pichard (Bo) of Crawfordsville, FL.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, one son Ryan Monfort and a niece Stacie Velez.
Alan was a 1982 graduate of Arcola High School. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He had worked at Bash and Schrock Construction in Champaign, IL and at Curry Construction before going to work for Okaw Truss as a truck driver, a position he held for over 22 years. Most recently he has worked at Mars Pet Care of Mattoon, IL for the past four years.
He was a member of the Arcola Masonic Lodge, ABATE of Illinois, and the Windsor Gun Club.
Alan enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, shooting guns, and spending time with family and friends.
Memorials may be made to a local animal shelter.
