Ruby Borkholder, 72, of Arthur, IL passed away peacefully in her sleep early Wednesday morning, December 24, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the HCK West building in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop David E. Schrock will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be anytime after Noon on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the HCK West building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Ruby was born on December 6, 1953 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Roman J. and Bertha H. (Miller) Borkholder.
She is survived by four siblings, Mervin Borkholdrer and his wife Wilma of Bloomington, IL, John Borkholder and his wife Susan of Nappanee, IN, Judy Diener and her husband Howard of Arthur, IL and Lynn Borkholder and his fiancé Sharon of Arcola, IL, a sister-in-law, LaVera Borkholder of Middlebury, IN, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Herb Borkholder, one niece, Cynthia K. Borkholder, and two nephews, Perry and Marcus Borkholder.
Ruby was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
