Alan Harold Johnson, 83, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1942 , in New York City to Clifford and Edith Johnson.
Al graduated from Bucknell University in 1964 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked in Engineering for US Steel, then as a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch. The job he enjoyed most was owning and operating 3 wine and spirits stores in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He loved to play golf, travel and read. He grew up in Pittsburgh and was an avid fan of the Steeler football team.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Peg Johnson, sons, Christopher Johnson and Eric Johnson, granddaughters Olivia Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson and brother Donald Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
