Uncle Alan was one in a million. He has a special place in my heart. When I was 8-10 years old I was suffered from paralyzing anxiety. I couldn´t really hold a conversation with adults or strangers. One day me and my sisters were visiting Uncle Alan and Auntie Barbara. I sat down in front of some of his albums and was looking through them. Uncle Alan came and sat down next to me and started talking to me. About music, boys and easy breezy stuff. He actually made me laugh. No other adult had ever done that for me. He saw me struggling and took the time to sit down and help me get through it. That is Uncle Alan! You will always be in my heart! Thank you for being there for me!
